The real problem is an unwillingness to stand on their own two feet. It’s not like they’re in a position to ‘be taken care of’ since for women that means a rich doormat who is willing to be a new ‘daddy’ for their spoiled wishes.

Well, a lot of the girls have been let down by their families. I can’t say I’m surprised.
The real issue here, to me, is that a lot of girls have been taught that they have to rely on themselves (and as shown by divorce statistics it’s a natural lesson) and I wonder if having to grow up too fast has a lot to do with it.

I think there is a truth to that. My daughters had to grow very quickly when the spouse crashed and burned with alcohol...and continues to this day.
Yeah that too.
However the oldest married at 24, the 21 year old is traveling the world in missions and looking. The son is looking for the right girl. The youngest is something else.
How about a higher than normal percentage of NYC women have herpes and other STDs?

Why would any man want to marry an overused woman who might have decided her sleep-around years were over?
