In recent months ammunition has slowly begun appearing on store shelves at major retailers in the United States. But after nearly two years of shortages that had ammunition manufacturers running their factories 24 hours a day, 7 days a week because of consumer demand and massive government purchases, it appears that another supply pipeline may have been cut.

Preppers’ PING!!
I am so screwed. Plus I just got well from pneumonia.
Buy ATK stock.
Will .22LR ever make a comeback?
I put up reloading supplies some time back, also got alloy ingots and bullet molds.
IK got an e-mail this afternoon about Classic having got in some .22 Long Rifle Match Grade and guest what? They are already sold out.
Anyone who puts that Russian crap in their weapons deserves the jams.
2160 rounds not one jam not one fail to fire in my ‘Bulgy’ AK74.
Its the go to round. Millions of .22LR rifles out there. Look at a nickle..Its worth a nickle...whats a .22 round worth?? Hmmnn ...More than a nickle. Buy when you can on the cheap. Or just buy.
Russia Has Reportedly Halted All Exports To The US Of Russian Made Ammunition
Unless Putin has some plan to invade the US, I think this move is a little short sighted for someone who is supposed to be so good at chess.
I think it will be the dollar bill after the troubles and the .223 will be the twenty and the 9mm the five.
The government is buying it and destroying it. They have to be. It is (was) cheap and easy to amass large stockpiles quickly. There’s no other logical explanation for its sudden and prolonged disappearance from the market.
The .22 Magnum is the $10 bill. But...you cant really find it so who knows.
I run Russian surplus 7.62 x 54R through my Mosin exclusively. Can’t remember the last time it jammed, and I’m using 10 round mags (with an Archangel stock).
“Theres no other logical explanation for its sudden and prolonged disappearance from the market.”
Well, except for, you know, the fact that people who are paranoid about the government buying everything they can get their hands on.
I have ATK, OLN, SWHC & RGR.
ATK & OLN will do very nicely in the coming months, as they have over the past 2yrs.
Right, except the stuff never makes it to the shelf. Otherwise, great theory.
