A gang of schoolboys dragged a cyclist from his bike before kicking him repeatedly as he cowered in the road - just because of his ginger hair.
The four teenagers also subjected the 38-year-old to a torrent of vile abuse in the “relentless attack” and left him needing major surgery for a fractured jaw, a court heard.
Manchester Magistrates’ Court heard how the gang had surrounded the victim at rush hour in the city’s center, and yelled “ginger ****” at him before the attack at a set of traffic lights.
A witness said the boys were “almost dancing on him”, while a motorist who sounded his horn in a bid to stop the attack called it “relentless”. …

Can someone explain what’s up with the “ginger” hatred in England? It seems like we regularly hear stories like this coming from there.
I’d say British kids are some of the worst scummiest youth on earth. You’re less likely to get attacked by kids in Pakistan and Somalia than you are by kids in Britain.
And bear in mind, this is what the libs want here as well. They’ve already made the youth of America as dumb as they can possibly be. Next they’ll gin up violence that will make the Occupy antics look like child’s play.

It’s unclear if this is a result of the attack or simply affirmation that the victim is a Brit.
This is just plain bizarre. Until now, I have never heard of mobs looking for redheads to beat up.
In Britain, you can go to jail for hate crimes against all the minority groups, ethnicities, sexual deviants, Muslims, etc...
So, now they’ve had to find other things to go after.

I’d bet plenty of money that they weren’t. Muslims hate all non-muslims pretty equally, while it is the native Britons who tend to jump on the “ginger” hate bandwagon.
I’ve heard from a Brit of my acquaintance that it’s because gingers are stereotypes of Scots and of course, the Irish.
Read what Brits had to say about the Irish (and the Scots) a couple of hundred years ago....you’d think you were reading Nazi propaganda about “subhumans” and “inferior races”.
Apparently, the prejudice is still there, but now the underlying reason for the prejudice has been forgotten; now it’s just a prejudice against folks with reddish hair.

The mildest acceptable penalty for attacks like this would be life with no possibility of parole. I’d prefer that these kids find themselves in a George Zimmerman situation. It’s sad to give up on kids, but it’s far sadder to see decent people maimed.
