My wife tried out the Zoodler last night at suppertime. She ran a tater or two through it trying two different blades. One made thin slices, kinda like thin flat crescent shaped fries. I guess it was a noodle blade, the other was a spiral cutter, it made spiral slices very thin. That came out like tater chips. They were nice and crunchy. We will be doing the chips again. We will slice some onions through that first blade and batter for onion rings. There was a BBQ place in our hometown that served onion rings sliced thin, battered, fried, and flipped out of the basket in a loaf style. Not your regular rings, but very tasty. We will duplicate them.

In other news, SIL killed an 8 point buck this morning going to work, with no damage to his truck. I wonder how far he had to swerve to hit the deer. lol He had a huge grin on his face in the picture.

I want a slicer that will slice veggies to do a stir fry. You have now run a potato and onion through using different blades. Would one or both of those blades cut the onion and other veggie in a way that would work for a stir fry?
