Can photons be trapped in orbit?

Now, I am no physicist but this is causing me trouble. If:

-All matter in the universe consists of atoms

-The force of gravity has the same effect on all matter

Then how does a “grey hole” that will consume stars and planets made of atoms also at the same time give light waves made of atoms a pass?

yes photons could be stuck in orbit

If gravity can affect photons so that light cannot excape a black hole then it is NOT an either/or scenario.

Light can be seen to bend around galaxies by ‘graviational lensing’ and there is no reason to thing a photon’s path could not be ‘bent’ enough to keep going around forever.
