Nathaniel Wentz is a 17-year-old kid who plays quarterback for his high school football team.
He also works well, he used to work during his free time.
Why did we say he used to work? Because he was fired from his gig at Odyssey 1 family entertainment center in Tacoma, Washington after he wore a Broncos jersey to work last Sunday.
Why was he wearing a Broncos jersey? Because his boss told employees that they could wear jerseys of their favorite teams to work since it was the day of the AFC and NFC Championship Games.
Wentz's manager asked him to go home Sunday and change his shirt. Wentz did go home, but then his father told him to stay there after he was unable to get the owner of the place on the phone.

Cool place; too bad he threw such a good job away on a silly matter and it’s ridiculous that his father called.
If you don’t go to work, you get fired.
Either there was poor communication about this, or that place is run by d*cks.
However, this guy should not have just stayed home. It is a job, and he is expected to be there.
In the future, I hope the football-loving meatheads there just skip the stupid team pride thing and just run a damn business with regular uniforms so there isnt any screw-ups like this.
I don’t understand this story...
You can wear anything you like. As long as it is approved first.
That was the real reason he lost his job. His father should have told him to dress as his boss told him and not called the place.
Dumb - The jersey policy.
Dumber - Idiot father telling his kid to stay home and go AWOL and calling the owner. Don't show up, you're fired.
Oh man; that is a cool rule and he just lost a great job.
If the only jerseys that the boss wanted to be were of the Seahawks, why didn't he say so?
We are pulling for the Broncos and live in Georgia. Where can we get Bronco shirts?
“If the only jerseys that the boss wanted to be were of the Seahawks, why didn’t he say so?”
Yes, exactly. I guess it’s good this man runs a business for children because he sounds very immature. Of course the kid’s father sound a bit babyish too.
Something is not quite right with this story —
If that is accurate the kid is better off not working for an idiot who doesn't mean what he says.
Me neither.
Too many “boss”, “manager”, “owner” titles involved. Who’s on first? If you figure it out, pls cc me.
It occurs to me that 0bama creates the same confusion and uncertainty on a national and global scale. His positions, policies and rhetoric are constantly shifting and instead of any sort of rational explanation when called on it he simply casts blame at those he has confused. I’m amazed he has kept his base as long as he has because he does it to them as much as he does his opposition. He’s like shifting sand in every respect.
