MANITOWOC, Wis. — A Wisconsin man who became lodged in the windshield of a car that struck him said he turned to the driver and said, "Hello, I'm the guy you hit on the bicycle."

The driver did not respond, but continued on, running a stop sign and hitting another vehicle before he arrived home, the cyclist, Steven Gove, told HTR Media about the Saturday incident [snip]

Gove, a 56-year-old newspaper carrier, was shocked that the driver didn't see him on his three-wheeled delivery bike.

I should say it's unbelievable but it's not. Here's an old thread from FR when something similar happened in 2002 Woman accused of hitting man, leaving him to die on windshield. The guy she hit lived for several days, stuck in the windshield while her car was in the garage. She and a friend later dumped the body.

I strongly suspect a sleep aid GABA blocker drug like Zolpidem (brand names Ambien, Ambien CR, Intermezzo, Stilnox, Sublinox, Hypnogen and Zolsana) is involved.

There are more and more reports of “Ambien zombies”, people doing complex tasks, even driving, while more asleep than not. At least two members of the Kennedy family have been involved in single car accidents while on Ambien.

Some 43 million prescriptions for these drugs have been issued in the US.
