TORONTO Media outlets are reporting Canadian pop star Justin Bieber could be deported from the U.S. if convicted of felony vandalism in connection with an alleged egg attack on a neighbours house but are they getting the facts scrambled?
Bieber could be sent packing to Canada if convicted of felony after vicious egg attack on neighbours house, declared the UKs Daily Mail.
Justin Biebers Egg-Throwing Police Probe Dilemma: Possible Felony Conviction Could See Pop Star Deported Back to Canada!, screamed RadarOnline.
Justin Bieber bust could mean jail time, deportation if convicted, Fox News reported.
Not so fast.
First, the 19-year-old Ontario-born singer hasnt been charged in connection with the alleged egg attack that caused a reported $20,000 in damage.
Although police egg-secuted a search warrant on Biebers Calabasas mansion on Tuesday, L.A. County Sheriffs Department Lt. David Thompson said the pop star was not arrested nor exonerated.
Secondly, while its true the penalty for felony vandalism defined in California as vandalism causing more than $400 damage is up to three years in prison, it is not likely cops will be carton him off to jail.
It is more likely Bieber, as a first-time offender, would simply be ordered to pay restitution and put on probation. In other words, a judge would omelette him go.
So what if, worst-case scenario, Bieber is charged, convicted and sentenced to time behind bars?
It turns out he could be forced back to his chilly homeland, Fox News reported. (Whoa! Its not always chilly in Canada.)
Its true that Bieber whos in the U.S. on a work visa could be deported if convicted of a crime of moral turpitude within five years of admission to the U.S. if the government finds the crime involved an element of intentional or reckless infliction of harm to persons or property.
Deportations are a civil matter, though, and Bieber would be able to fight it. The government is unlikely to bother trying to send a world-famous pop star packing.
Besides, a Bieber deportation would evidently divide a nation:
Using the standard held for Mexicans here illegally, Justine could come back even if he was charged/convicted of drunk driving, being a sexual predator, making a terrorist threat, etc.
A bit harsh, doncha think?
That would be sweet. The kid’s a little smart a** pr***.
A bit harsh, doncha think?

Bear in mind, we are talking about Justin Bieber here.
He has a history of acting out in the neighborhood he lives in and he threw eggs on a wall where there was a Venetian plaster covering, that is what makes it felony damage. He also cussed out the owner, in front of the young daughter of the owner of the house as well.
Venetian plaster covering:

Oh, please. We don’t want him back.
You obviously haven’t heard him sing.
Why does the US have to suffer him? We have enough celebs making us suffer.
That would be a stuning development!
No don’t deport him, judge. Just make him clean up the mess himself. Give him a bucket, soap, a brush and a ladder and tell him clean it up yourself jerk. Don’t let him call in his crew and let the media photograph every minute of it.
It's quite possible the egging was justified. Maybe the neighbor was playing Justin Bieber albums. Just sayin'.
That or the neighbor asked if he was getting married soon... to a woman.
“Carton him off to jail”?
His antics always struck me as staged, designed for publicity, which is okay by me. So is this one real or is it Memorex? A little more elaborate than the others, granted, but still might’ve been agreed to by all parties. If not, deport him. Law’s clear. Just apply it equally to all scofflaw foreigners who are here peeing on our lettuce, etc.
All that you say is true, but I still think a firing squad is rather excessive.
Not sticking up for the little brat Biebster, but the dad is pretty good at cuss words himself.
I don’t blush easily, but the number of times the dad shouted M’Fer in front of his daughter was just sad.
All involved may have a lot of money, but no class.
