A petition on White House.gov is calling for President Obama to support an effort to encourage public schools to recognize Muslim holidays on their official school calendars.
The petition was put on the "We the People" site last month by a group of Muslim students from Virginia and has garnered about 28 thousand signatures so far.
"With the growing population of Muslims in he United States of America (including first, second, third and fourth generation) we believe it is high time that Muslim holidays are recognized by schools throughout this nation," reads the petition text.

Sure, I'll sign, just think, we can have "Wear a Burka to Class Day", "Suicide Vest Making for Beginners Seminars", We Need Diversity! (Do I need a sarcasm tag?)
Time to dispute that Islam is a religion. It’s a social order using God and ignorant people as a cover.
“..With the growing population of Muslims in he United States of America ..”
and this is scary, especially when it is so apparent it is part of the Islamic goal of world conquest.
What a novel idea. Let’s start with September 11th and move on to July 7 (even though it’s in the summer break). We can throw in the anniversaries of the USS Cole attack and the Beirut bombing.
Let’s celebrate with beer and a pig roast!
They’re easing Islam into society one step at a time trying to get their influence to take hold. Once they hit 20 % of the population then all hell breaks loose.
I’m still trying to figure out how anyone could vote for a Black Muslim by the name of Barak Hussein after 9-11. Something is very wrong.
sure keep your Moslem child home on the holidays
I do think we should recognize Muslim holidays in public schools . . . right after they start acknowledging Christmas and Easter in madrassas in Mecca.
The “growing population of Muslims in this country” is the problem. This should never have been allowed and all migration from Muslim countries should have been stopped after 9/11.
The muzzie calendar needs to be revised to fit in with the timing of holidays in real civilizations.
Private school your kids, folks.
Indeed.
The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the presidency. It will be easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to an electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails us. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a Barack Obama. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president.

lets just declare the month of December “HanuRamaKwanzmas” and take the whole month off!
but he’s blaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack
We have to vote for him to prove we are not prejudiced!
Idiots
My money says the petition was put up under the direction of Valerie Jarret; the puppet master with Iranian connections who runs this administration.
Quick! someone file a petition to recognize Christian holidays! and also Jewish holidays!
Let them try to seperate them and grant the muzzies special consideration....

I tink we got played by someone or some organiztion that planned it a long time ago. An unendless source of money and lots of connections to make it happen.
Muslims, like gays, are substantially less than 5% of the population. But the MSM megaphone is building them into a virtual majority.
another sponsor could well have been that cop killer Revolutionary Obama picked for the civil rights division of the Obummer Black Muslim Just us Dept.
