I knew a guy from Campbellsville, Jon Allen, that was in ROTC. He left Western in ‘88-’90 as a Second Lt. He also majored in Photojournalism.
Blonde hair, played the banjo, drove a blue VW Beetle, chewed way too much tobacco.
Used to play a game w/other ROTC guys by crawling across campus late at night trying not to be seen!

That would have been roughly the time I was in ROTC, but it was only for one semester. I was way too busy partying and playing in bands around town to be serious about something like my future. You remember how BG was...keg parties every Thursday night, from Chestnut to Kentucky St, and 14th down to 10th St. It was a fun place to be back then, though I didn't accomplish much.
