SAN DIEGO, Dec. 24 (UPI) -- A female Malayan tiger at the San Diego Zoo died during mating after the male tiger bit her neck and severely injured her spinal cord, zoo officials said.
The two endangered Malayan tigers were involved in the mating process Saturday before guests arrived at the zoo, but it appeared as though the male tiger, Conner became a little too rough with the female, Tiga Tahun, U-T San Diego reported Monday.

“You’re doing it wrong!”
After a romantic dinner and roses, I know "Dear, shall we get involved with the mating process tonight?" works every time.
Would that qualify as rape, rape?
Oh well. there’s no divorce in that relationship.
I think this is a horrible shame. She was a beautiful animal, endangered species?
So I’d like to know: a. what the zookeepers might have but did not do to prevent this and b. does this happen when tigers mate in the wild?
I guess she didn’t want to assume the position?
Any reason why artificial insemination should be ruled out?
Hmmm ... the dangers of rough sex ...
Most women like a little neck nibble now and then, but that’s going a bit too far...
I guess we at least know why that part of the species is “endangered”...
Wow, talk about rough sex...
a. Nothing. Who's gonna get between the male's teeth and the female?
b. Yes.
Going out with a bang. Reminds me of Nelson Rockefeller for some reason.
Would you have the courage to collect the semen after you know what this tiger is capable of??
“Often the male will grab the [female] by the back of the neck...and sometimes you get an overzealous animal who takes it a little too far. It’s the nature of the beast”...Malayan tigers are highly endangered in the wild.
Well, habitually killing your mate while mating WILL have that result!
Feminist are all in a up roar over this.
A really wide heavy steel collar?
The sabbtic goat.. feminism and homosexuality.
This only made the news because he can’t throw a football for sh*t!
