Detroit, Michigan (May 6, 2013) — After more than two years of intense motion practice and discovery, the City of Dearborn has agreed to enter into a settlement that includes a public apology for arresting several Christian missionaries who were peacefully preaching to Muslims at the Dearborn Arab International Festival in 2010. The American Freedom Law Center (AFLC), a national nonprofit Judeo-Christian law firm, is representing Dr. Nabeel Qureshi, David Wood, and Paul Rezkalla, who were thrown in jail on June 18, 2010, and charged with “breach of the peace” for their free speech activity.
In September 2010, Robert Muise, AFLC Co-Founder and Senior Counsel, represented the Christians during a five-day criminal trial. At the end of the trial, the Christians were acquitted by a unanimous jury verdict. Following the acquittals, fellow AFLC Co-Founder and Senior Counsel David Yerushalmi and Muise filed a 100-page, civil rights lawsuit against the City, its mayor, John B. O’Reilly, its chief of police, Ronald Haddad, 17 City police officers, and two executives from the American Arab Chamber of Commerce on behalf Qureshi, Wood, and Rezkalla. The lawsuit was later amended to add the Arab Chamber as a defendant. The civil rights complaint alleged that the Christians’ constitutional rights were egregiously violated during the Arab festival.

Unfortunately we have already accepted these animals into our country. Getting ride of them will be almost impossible. Considering that our funky in chief in the WH is a closet muslim, I doubt any members of his religious cult will ever be expelled.

agree with you, hope they got a good amount from the muslims. The muslims are a johnny come lately to this country and think they own it.
City of Dearborn city council is now Arab majority.
Dearborn has harassed Christians for years, fortunately they are getting some setbacks from the courts. Here is an older article.

The Dearborn Arab street festival is a public street is blocked off and Christians have been arrested and prohibited from access. The Dearborn government has tried to designate where and when free speech can be exercised.

Muslims are a proven to be against everything that I am as a Christian. I am a Christian from the ages of the Crusades.
And I laugh at their women when I see them in their tents at our local mall ... and stare with defiance and contempt at their male escorts.

I assume you have no problem with muslims who have the same attitude toward Christians and Jews...........or do you consider that wrong because of the 1st Amendment?
I have only been challenge once. The young lad confronted me and suggested that he might inflict bodily harm on me for my disparagement of his charges.
Living in Ohio, a ccw state, I informed him that I was legally armed with a concealed handgun and that if he attempted to accost me in anyway I would be forced to shoot him ... he backed off. And I had a great and loud laugh.

It has nothing to do with the 1a. First, Islam is a cult. It is not a religion. Therefore the 1a does not apply. Second, doing business with Muslims is a matter of free will. It has nothing to do with the US Constitution. As for owning a business, that is a property right that has been unjustly imposed upon by consent of our government on many fronts. Property is something that I will fight for, whether it is my business or house. When anyone that de-values my property I will consider them as a direct infringement of my freedom and liberty. Our government exists to protect our freedom and liberty, although that has long been lost. That is the reason why we need to take things in our own hands.
The only way to stop this crap is to now hold the individuals personally responsible, criminally and civilly, for depriving these individuals of liberty and property. As it is the city insurance company writes a check and all is forgotten.
We have to vote people in Congress who will have an honest debate on the issue. It can happen, but it will take everyone in every polling place. Absent that, it’s not happening.
