I remember when Steve Spurrier first began coaching at Florida. He began to go for it far more than anyone else that I know of.

I know when I am pulling for a team, I am usually relieved when their opposition punts. In other words if it is close at all, my intuition nearly always believes it is best to go for it, assuming it is not too far and a few other exceptions.

Leach goes for it on 4th down a lot. Well, he used to. Don’t know if he still does. Have only seen one Washington State game this year.
