She’s convincing a lot of folks with her story.

This is mostly because we don’t know wtf to do with VAN either. But you will get this: I work for a nonprofit, hired under HAVA to do minority outreach work. I am mandated to increase voter turnout. I asked for their database. They do not have one. They don’t know who their vols are, they don’t have previous turnout numbers, they had no idea they could buy voter rolls, and they are kind of confused as to why I would want to track contacts. 11/15/13 2:17pm

We put their logo on a dartboard because their servers kept overloading the last three weeks. They had apparently failed to realize that people would be heavily using their databases during GOTV, so data entry took ten people six hours instead of taking five people three hours.
