Letter: Cruz, GOP's actions immoral
The Stockton Record ^ | November 8, 2013 | Arne Aasen

Posted on 11/09/2013 6:20:19 PM PST by 2ndDivisionVet

If Texas Sen. Ted Cruz were in California, we would start a recall on him. Cruz is wasting hard-working Americans' money in our Senate. It was immoral for Cruz and the other Republicans to shut down government to keep Americans from getting affordable health care.

America is tired of the Republicans' hating President Barack Obama so much that they want to keep 50 million Americans from being able to afford health care.

When the health care reform law becomes fully operational it will bring the cost of America's health care down.

In time, we can make changes and put into effect the single-payer Medicare-for-all and go to a publicly funded health care system and do away with the for-profit insurance companies, which is the reason Americans' health care system is the costliest in the world.

Ted Cruz is all about keeping Americans from getting affordable health care.

The lines are being drawn. And, still the pubbies let these socialist dhimmicraps define the terms of the debate.

The truth is that the dhimmicraps were solely responsible for the shutdown because they couldn’t see past their precious leader’s signature legislation as the stepping stone to their goal of nationalized health care.

And still the pubbies chew on each other...

Who do you think “shut down” the government? It wasn’t the Republicans in either half of Congress.

When you give your enemy 100% of what they ask for, minus only funds for a program Zero himself this week apologizes for, the only entity responsible for a shut down is the Democratic party.

Repubs are afraid to run against it.

Not true. Republicans are not afraid to run against it. Republicans are not against it in the first place. It gives them future issues to run on. Future elections will all be run on tweaking the National Health System to favor this group or that one the way it is in England. Republicans look forward to the time when they only have one issue they have to deal with. Besides, for incumbents the corruption opportunities are limitless with AFC. The Republicans' supervisors at the DNC have instructed the Republicans how to act, anyway.

What’s even worse is that the writer is from Stockton, CA. Wonder how that bankruptcy thing is going.....oh ya, Stockton just voted to raise their sales tax to 9% for up to 10 years to help keep things together. Let Stockton model a single payer health system first. It could work. Just raise sales tax to around 20% and triple property taxes. Go for it Stockton!!

that’s apparently perfectly moral.

To these slime bags, anything that furthers the cause of communism, is moral.

Wow. How many ways can you get across the message "I'm an uninformed idiot" in one sentence?

Good grief. Yes, build a wall around Stockton and let them try it first. Don’t let anyone that supports it out for a decade. Check back in 10 and see if there are any survivors.

The Pinkos always like to pretend that conservatives appear in Congress by magic -- and not that they are elected by, yes, Americans.

If Cruz were in Stockton, he’d be in a bankrupt city reading your vacuous fish wrap of a newspaper. Global warming can’t happen fast enough to drown you fetid town.

This Arne Arsen dude is clearly in need of the full mental health coverage provisions included in Obamacare. I can see why he so desperately needs it. And this state I live in is chock full of living breathing oxygen sucking people like him, and Stockton in particular.

We are up against it my fellow Conservatives. I fear we are long past being able to stem the tide.

"If Texas Sen. Ted Cruz were in California..."

Well, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz was in California last night.

We tried to keep him, but, sadly, we couldn't.
Our loss
:-(
Lucky Texans.

This article is a giant steaming pile of BS-BTW.

PS: Agree with you completely - a steaming pile...

For reasons I don't quite understand, Democrats are running away from it while Repubs are afraid to run against it.

Most likely Karl Rove is telling them Obamacare polls well with Hispanics, which it probably does, since most of them love socialism. And Rove is telling them their future electoral chances rest on winning the Hispanic vote. Which he's not entirely wrong about since you only need to look at birth rates to see whites are driving themselves into minority status. But all of this is why passing amnesty would be suicide for the GOP or any conservative party in our lifetime. There's no future for a conservative party if you flood the voter rolls with that many Hispanics.
