Don't get complicated! The guy broke the law. Therefor - JUSTIFIED! Now, bill the parents for the bullets./SARC
I guess the logic is "He was a threat a minute ago. He's not now, but he should still be summarily executed."

The thing about these shootings is that so many take place after the danger is over. Does a person who has been evading police in a vehicle become less dangerous when the vehicle is stopped?
