Up, up and away!
I just want you to feel better. It was so traumatic for you when the government was shut down and you were denied all the wondrous services, benefits, protection and support from the many dedicated servants who wake up each day thinking, "How can I take the tax dollars of the American citizenry and use it to enrich their lives? Oh, the privilege of serving the American people!"
Just kidding. Women, you might want to wear pants when you fly:
A federal air marshal has been arrested and accused of taking cell phone photographs underneath womens skirts as they boarded a plane at Nashville International Airport.
Nashville police say Adam Bartsch was on duty on Southwest Airline Flight 3132 on Thursday when a witness noticed he was taking the photos and grabbed his cell phone. Police say the witness notified a flight attendant and Bartsch was taken off the flight and charged with disorderly conduct.
The logistics of it have me curious. The report doesn't say if Bartsch was seated, standing in the entrance or maybe even outside the plane as people were boarding. How exactly would you get your camera phone under women's skirts so inconspicuously that they wouldn't notice? You could silence the clicker, but you have to know that you're probably lucky to get away with it once, right? Kudos to the passenger who apparently had the nerve to grab the phone and show it to a flight attendant.

Maybe he’s moonlighting for the NSA.
Kudos to the passenger, indeed. Aren’t the air marshals armed?
We can all feel safer now since guys like this are back on the job —
One reporter was happy to hear the government “roar back to life”. I suppose all he missed in the government shutdown was the grounds keepers and lawn mowers.
Maybe he was looking for bombs...or “something”?
Obviously just checking for dangerous items like exploding panties.
He would have gotten away with it if he hadn’t set his camera on flash.
As you board a plane, there’s a little gap you have to step over. Maybe he stood under that gap and took pictures, but he’d have to be really quick about it.
