Someone please remind Captain Imbecile that if this is the first time in 28 years that he has been disallowed the chance to go fishing, then that means he has been through the other 17 shutdowns and the other past Presidents didnt stop him from running his business. I stopped watching Deadliest Catch when Phil Harris died. This whining crybaby was one of the other reasons I quit watching. He “recently ran with the bulls at Pamplona?” He doesn’t sound like he’s doing too bad. Typical commie lib DemocRAT.
Keith Colburn and Sig Hansen were on Fox and friends a while back and Colbrun said that global warming is killing the business. Sig Hansen rolled his eyes and said “You just don’t know where to fish”.
He should say the real financial loss he feels is no royalties and residuals from Discovery Channel when his boat is tied up in Ballard. (seattle’s fishing port).
I suspect, at the cost of crabbing and his past season’s catches, he’d have been out of the biz a few seasons ago w/o Discovery’s fees paid to him.

The Russians will be over fishing the area and selling their crab to a lucrative US market while US fishermen go bankrupt sitting in port because of the lack of bureaucrats. Were I in this position I would be fishing as usual and tell the bureaucrats to go to hell. What is Obama going to do send out armed Coast Guard and Navy vessels to keep US fishing boats off the Bering Sea?
