Oh my.
I know a young lady in Tokyo who’s obsessed with “Hello Kitty”. Her apartment is “Hello Kitty” everything, even down the to all the bedclothes.
Like I told her, “Don’t get me wrong; I’m a big anime fan and I have been for the last four decades, ever since getting a dose of “Space Battleship Yamato” (aka “Star Blazers”) and “Speed Racer” as a child. But this.....yikes, K____________, this is too much. You’re an otaku.”
Something she strongly denies to this day.
