Microsoft dangled a $200 store credit to anyone who wanted to trade in an iPad for a Surface tablet. Now, the total has climbed to $350 via a new deal.
It’s not as simple as all that, however. Microsoft’s previous offer covered “gently used” iPad 2, 3, and 4s, which users had to simply tote into a Microsoft store and redeem, in a partnership with CExchange.
When I go to the “mall” which is about twice a year, the Apple store looks like they are giving away free beer, and the Microsoft kiosk guy is the loneliest fella in town.
