The adjunct professors are grossly under paid compared to the tenured professors who barely work at all in many cases. As long as they publish once in a while they are paid handsomely.
Well this will come before Obamas NLRB and they will loose so he can cheer up.
While I think that colleges grossly mistreat adjuncts it is because of the glut of PHDs in the liberal arts. She chose her course of study on her personal interest rather than on her ability to make a living from her acquired knowledge.

Given that the dead adjunct could easily get the union lawyer on the phone I would surmise that poor deceased adjunct seems to be one of Duquesnes union organizing activist.
