The thing is the odds are most of those whites there vote Democrat.
Unlike Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle is hilarious. But just like Rock, he’s a flaming racist.
Yeah, he’ll stay wealthy and healthy in a black world, with Mexicans and Asians just full of racial guilt and dying to redistribute money and makework jobs to him and his.
Thanks Obama.
you’ve managed to take a guy who could laugh at his own race to make a buck from millions of white fans and turned him into another everyday black racist.
This “racial healing” is hard
Well, with Hartford I’d be safe and drop two.
Wouldnt want anybody to feel left out.
I saw a video of the “performance.” Basically, Chapelle just rambled on and on about nothing. Nothing entertaining about that. If I had paid to see him, I would have heckled him too!
Hey, Dave, you ain’t funny anymore, Get over it!
He also has a habit of insulting his audiences:
You know why my show is good? Because the network officials say you're not smart enough to get what I'm doing, and every day I fight for you. I tell them how smart you are. Turns out, I was wrong. You people are stupid.
Don't care how funny he is, he's a racist and a jerk.
"Here, let me get this one Barack, you can pick up the tab in Hartford ...
... I hear they're a great crowd."
and he was talking about his FANS?
A negro comedian so drunk on entitlement koolaid that he thinks affirmative action forces audiences to laugh at his jokes. Now, THAT’S funny.
What an idiot.
NYC would be better.
I was at this show. Chappelle was the last act of the evening. There were quite a few acts that evening but the vibe I got that evening was that everyone was there specifically to see him. It was a semi-outdoor venue with around 8,000 people in attendance. The doors opened at 5:30 and he came out sometime after ten — yes, most of the crowd was good and liquored up by then. He was received with a rowdy standing ovation... it was hardly a hostile crowd. Yes, there were drunken idiots yelling out his catchphrases and people were cheering at every little thing he said; people were excited to see the guy and that’s pretty much what you’d expect given the venue.
About five minutes in he started accusing the audience of being weird and started insulting us. At first people thought it was part of the act and just went with it, laughing and whatnot. Then he sat down and started smoking cigarettes and told us he wasn’t going to perform until we shut up. That’s when some people started heckling him — yes, they were drunk, but they paid good money for the show and they wanted their money’s worth. He could have easily defused the situation but instead chose to stoke the flames. He kept telling us that he had our money already and that when his time was up he was leaving. And, true to his word, after his time was up he left. The crowd was not initially hostile by any means, but rather only became hostile after he made it clear that he fully intended to rip us off and walk away with our money because “something” about us was “off” (and, apparently, that “something” was the fact that we were predominantly white).
I was a fan of the guy. Not so much anymore. What he pulled that night was completely classless.
sounds like dave Chappelle was committing a whole lot of hate speech.
