Yesterday we published a set of maps that came from a survey about what Americans think of other states.
Essentially, each respondent was asked to answer a question with a state that wasn't their own, like which state is the drunkest, the nicest, the most arrogant.
We looked at the data and decided to compress the 22 maps into one map.

On this map, every state that won a superlative — first place in any question — has its claims to fame in bolded print. For instance, Colorado was the top vote getter in the Most Beautiful scenery category.

So, the designer of the survey is 12?
Texas: Least Favorite, Would like to see kicked out.
Great! I hope that means that Californians, New Yawkers, Illinoisians, oh-so-smart Washingtonians, and all other manner of Yankee and Left Coast liberal vermin will stay out of here.
The survey is 100% correct, y’all... nothing to see down here, sucks to live in Texas... move on!
Yeah that’s the impression I get.
Then, I remember Philadelphia is also in our fair Commonwealth. Philadelphia is a different world entirely of oafs, boo-birds and ill-mannered slobs who should be deported to New Jersey. Yeah, we deserve such a low rating because of them.
Full Agreement BUMP. Get the hell out, stay the hell out.
Arizona. “Worst Scenery”. LOL! Obviously, somebody be hittin’ da happy smoke again!
Arizona has “the worst scenery”? Phooey!!!!
Arizona: Best scenery! Best food!
I saw that, too. And I can tell you, we wear that with pride.
Please kick us out. You would lose a large portion of your domestic oil supply, and Texas would rival any OPEC country.
We wouldn't be constrained by (lack of) federal immigration law, either. And by the way, you would be an illegal alien if you tried to enter Texas and work without a green card.
HA, Texas! Missouri (as does S. Dakota) has you beat, even on that account. The rest of the country thinks so little of us that we didn't even rate any answers on the quiz! We suck SO bad, that it can't even be quantified, according to the results. Hopefully, it will keep everyone away,as well.
Ray Wylie Hubbard, you're on...
Screw You, We're From Texas."

From an old issue of Sports Illustrated that asked pro athletes various questions about American cities and asked them to rate their Top Five:
Q. Pound for pound, crude for crude, and felony for felony, the worst collection of fan rabble ever assembled on the face of the earth?
1. Philadelphia
2. And no one else
3. Is even close
4. To being
5. In contention
Looks like only liberals voted.
As for Arizona's "worst scenery", this was taken in my backyard:
Stuff like this just shows how freaking STUPID the average person is
And 50% of people are more stupid than average! !!!
I think this map was done by people whose favorite scenery is the inside of a Verizon or Old Navy store.
Interesting that Missouri not voted Best Police State.
