Getting a tattoo to express one’s faith in God is like voting Democrat to express your support of liberty.

Yeah, going around wearing as little clothing as possible, basically only covering your nipples and your crotch, probably doesn’t lead one think you are a Christian. Also, dressing up like a nun in the skimpiest bikini possible is incredibly disrespectful. That’s probably why they were surprised when they saw the cross.

The only time she has religion is when she is moaning, “Oh, God!”

Someone should tell Kate that wearing a cross does not in itself make you religious.

This doesn’t surprise me. She is a regular, down-home girl from Michigan.

Her photos are generally tasteful expressions of the female form.

She is a great role-model in that she rejects the anorexic look in favor of embracing her full-figure.

The fashion industry refers to her as “fat”.

50 years ago, a celebrity being religious would have been met with a "So?".

Of course, 50 years ago, they'd not have been getting a tattoo to prove it, either.

>> ‘Why are you wearing a cross? Like you would be religious.’ And then they took [my necklace] away,” Upton told the magazine.

The important take-away is her commitment to Christ. That is not something many celebrities have the courage to do.

The older I get the more I am convinced that the God of the patriarchs was not nearly as preoccupied over the years as I was about what I did with my little pee-pee .

Call me old fashioned but when I find out a babe is as young or younger than my own children it just kills the ogling thrill right then and there.

Thank God for His creation. In Kate’s case it’s good, VERY good. I know none of us are perfect, but Kate is as close as it gets.

God created us all. We should not be ashamed of the bodies He gave us. Kate has no reason to be ashamed.

I think God created us all naked. Before sin entered the world, Eve was NAKED in the garden and....

Genesis 2:25
Adam and his wife were both naked, and they felt no shame.

Leviticus 19:28
“‘Do not cut your bodies for the dead or put tattoo marks on yourselves. I am the Lord.

“The essence of the commandments given to us by Paul and Moses thousands of years ago still apply today even though the cultural specifics have changed. We must not give our fellow Christians a reason to think we have slipped into “pagan” ways. Likewise, we must not give unbelievers any reason to judge us and reject us before we have had a chance to present the Good News.”

One would think that a woman who’s truly Christian would dress somewhat more demurely than she did on that cover of Sports Illustrated.
