Kate Upton won't be forced to hide her religious values.
The stunning supermodel got a tattoo of a cross on her finger so she could always show her devotion to God, she explained in the September issue of Elle.
"I was at a photo shoot and I was wearing a cross necklace that my mom bought me, and somebody made a joke like, 'Why are you wearing a cross? Like you would be religious.' And then they took [my necklace] away, Upton told the magazine. I was really affected by that. The whole thing made me realize that I do want [a cross] with me, at all times."

Apparently that’s what some people think. I guess the only “jdugement” allowed is that people who judge are Bad.
IMO its great that she says she’s religious. We need more prominent mainstream people to say “I’m religious” especially when they are referring to Christianity.
It opens the door for others to hear Gods word. Sure she’s not the model Christian woman but none of us are perfect. There are many people I see in church who are worse examples of a Christian.
No she’s broke up with him and has been dating me for a while. shhhh don’t tell my wife
She's only 21. I made a few mistakes back in the day. When she's older, she may look back on this and regret it. Or not.
It’s not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. The Lord Himself ate with prostitutes.
Disagree with her choice of profession all you want, but in reality, she’s just a sinner like you and me, desperately in need of God’s grace and mercy.
So maybe, just maybe, take a moment to actually pray for her, that she would indeed find mercy.
That’s it? One photo and a mini-movie? This thread is useless.
The point of being religious is that you desire to stop sinning. You continue to sin instead of repent, that ain’t gong to work.
“You equate getting a tattoo with doing illegal drugs?”
No, but by default, you did.
Proposing that just because the NT or even the OT do not proscribe something therefore makes it acceptable logically encompasses quite a broad swath of behaviors and activities.
That said, people who use illegal drugs have a tendency to favor tattoos so your comment is not entirely off the mark.
Myself, I don’t mind people who have tattoos because it’s a handy way to identify those people who are at an increased risk of exposure to tetanus, hepatitis, MRSA, and a number of novel dermatological problems such as cutaneous lesions, burns from MRI scans, keratosis, melanomas, and anaphylaxis from reactions to tattoo inks.
Given that Corinthians 6:19-20 admonishes us to care for our bodies and treat them as temples then exposing your body to potential harm just to make a petty fashion statement would be something the NT speaks out against.
Many of her photo’s cannot be posted here, due to this website having some standards
So you're the one who went to see that movie.
True. And for all either of us know, she regrets those pictures you looked up. She can’t unring that bell, and neither can you or I with the sin in our lives.
Point is, build up. Don’t tear down.
LOL. I keep thinking I hear Him telling me the same thing . . . . naaaaahhhh.
I will state my opinion on these threads.
Call me old fashioned but when I find out a babe is as young or younger than my own children it just kills the ogling thrill right then and there.
Remember, envy is a sin.
She poses topless.
She is not into modesty and decency
her claims are ludicrous
Thank God for His creation. In Kate’s case it’s good, VERY good. I know none of us are perfect, but Kate is as close as it gets.
God created us all. We should not be ashamed of the bodies He gave us. Kate has no reason to be ashamed.
I think God created us all naked. Before sin entered the world, Eve was NAKED in the garden and....
Genesis 2:25
Adam and his wife were both naked, and they felt no shame.
I didn’t call her that. I responded to someone erroneously claiming we can never judge anyone.
And who are you to judge the salvation of another? Does the NT not also say to not berate your brother because he does not eat meat?
