If the reason that the original poster stated is true, that the Admin Moderator pulled a thread because "reason: Do not post from sources requiring registration," then I stand by my statement.
If, however, as several people are claiming, that the REAL reason is that the source is not credible or just not liked here, then just say so and don't hide behind a bogus claim that FreeRepublic no longer allows posting from sources that require registration. That would be, at best, willful misdirection, and at worst, arbitrary moderating.
The FreeRepublic homepage contains a comprehensive list of sites that have requested copyright restrictions on content posting. I haven't checked, but have all registration-only sites been added to this list? Has the general statement that only non-registration sites be allowed here been added to this list?
I appreciate the effort to moderate the thousands of posts made each day. All I'm asking for is honesty in the stated reasons why threads are pulled.

Thanks, I ran around frantically theoretically and did not do my homework. Serves me right. I could not figure it out as to why the previously offending thread was still up and running. Any documents are meat and drink to me and I have enjoyed what I have seen. We can all agree to disagree (chuckle).
There are actually a lot of right wing websites that allow dissent that are doing quite well and growing rapidly.
