Don't know I missed this event.

WOODSTOCK, Alabama -€“ Ms. Redneck Alabama was not your average kind of pageant.

Instead of dresses, contestants showed off cowboy boots and Daisy Dukes. Instead of singing "The Star-Spangled Banner," some of them sang "Country Girl (Shake It for Me)" by Luke Bryan or "Gunpowder and Lead" by Miranda Lambert.

More than 100 people turned out for the event Saturday at the Woodstock Festival Art Center. The event was the first of its kind to be held there, said Shelia Gunter, who helped organize it. The center normally hosts bands and other local artists.

Damn, I just don’t get this women and tattoos culture of today.

I’ve never seen a cute girl with a tattoo that made her more attractive, in fact, it is a total turn off....reeks of a disease factory (mental and physical).

Incidentally, these girls don't really look redneck. They just look like scuzzy people doing a cheap imitation of what they think rednecks are like.

Darn! I missed it. Of course if I’d had root canal scheduled that day it would have been a hard decision. Ultimately I think I would have had to go for the root canal. Less pain.

We warned our daughter about getting a tattoo when she was in college. She got over the idea after she saw an older lady with sagging arm skin that looked like carp.
