One good thing about tomatillos - buy them one year and you will have volunteers forever. I have about ten in my garden this year.
He was in south Chicago, doubt if there was a tomatillo plant around for miles. He was just an amazing gardener, he really has a green thumb. I went out after I wrote you and stopped at the 2 places in our small town that might have them, all out of veggies now, only flower plants left. Oh well, maybe I’ll get a few. Would a paintbrush work to self pollinate??
