A coffin with three wheels?
Why do they call it a car?
Nope. Two wheels in front and wider. Seriously stable and I suspect handles pretty well. I just bought a Scion FRS last month for my 122 mile commute. If they sold this car in KY, I’d almost certainly buy it right now, even with the Scion.
I don’t believe the price, though.
How much is the tilter? It looks pretty cool too.
I hope they make a $billion. I really do.
Christ....I’ve been riding for 36 years both dirt and pavement....I’d feel safer on a motorcycle....at least I can JUMP OFF....
Why do they call it a car?
Because if they called it a tricycle death trap it would put people off.
It gets similar mileage to a cushy bike but the bike can fit two.
If someone is in the market for a covered bike with room for one, I guess this is their ride. There might be a market for it in extremely rainy areas with expensive gas and difficult parking but sales in the USA will be weak.
Looks to me as if you’re promoting a product outright, linking to the manufacturer’s stie and posting their sales FAQ. II thought that was off-limits on FR?
Have they delivered the first vehicle yet? At what price?
Titter????
Motor Car: A road vehicle with an engine and four wheels that can carry a small number of passengers.
84 mpg on hwy ...8 gal tank 70 hp
It seats two and unlike other Three wheelers, it is front engine with front wheel drive.
If they can sell that for $6,800, it’s worth every dime. The Can Am goes for what, $20,000?
Don’t know how they can make a profit with three airbags and A/C standard. Looks like a great commuter car for that kind of money and mileage IMHO.
I’m sure the Production Model will have a Windshield Wiper.
The ones pictured are not Production, they are Prototypes.
That looks like a very basic knockoff of the Toyota i-Road electric vehicle.
It has so-called “active lean” technology to keep such a narrow vehicle stable in turns. It’s sort of cool in a Tron-like way, the Toyota concept is at least.
This link shows a video of several prototypes on the road:
