The Los Angeles Times is reporting that America's tire rental business is growing. Companies that previously specialized in rent-to-own wheels are now shifting their business to provide low-income drivers with rent-to-own tires. Customers can pay as little as $14 per month for new rubber, but may wind up paying as much as four times the retail price by the time all's said and done. While the first rent-to-own wheel and tire dealer surfaced in the mid '90s, the business has been expanding.

“Do you have to rent the air as well ?”

No, you buy it for two cents per pound.
Breast implants can be kind of pricey.......
“Ladies are you dreading that 20 year high school reunion? Have your breasts dropped lower than Obama’s ratings? Maybe you just want to show Cindy that YOU have the big ones, now. Breast implants can cost thousands of dollars! And do you really need them after the reunion? Why not rent them? Come on down to Bobs Boob Shack and rent yourself a pair of our famous Dolly Partons for only $14 a week! Why, for the price of a couple of fancy coffees a week, you can make all the men in your class wish they’d taken you to the prom instead of Slutty Cindy!”

Can’t blame it’s a market niche created by easy money. 4 times! Great profit. That monthly piece of paper that pays for tihis is creatively being stretched to have a residual each month irregardless of the cost. The heck with the cost just give me that with as much left now because next month the reset button is pushed and I’m guaranteed money will come. It’s a shame that our money is not worth more.
I thought I had it made when I bought my first safe car. Shortly there after came a wife, kids and more responsibility ... it has been down hill ever since. (just kidding)
Less than perfect credit? Low credit, slow credit. NO credit?
No problem at Betty’s Rent-to-own Boob Boutique!
You can go from ‘iitty bitty’ to boulder holders! While in the store check out our pre-owned selection of chewing gum and space age plastic, lightly used beverage containers.
That makes it a huge bargain as well, considering that it costs about a DOLLAR to get less than 30 pounds of air at a convenience store.
Near where I live, there is a USED TIRE STORE. I had one tire that had a slow leak , which got faster as the temperature increased.
A new tire would have cost over $100, but for $40 they mounted and balanced a used tire that was a good match. It has plenty of tread and I have no complaints.
The scam(er) or rather scum industries are sickening. (Of course the low income-low information) people that fall for them are not wise, but it’s still sickening how many take advantage.
Bottom feeders..
When I hear about these places I always wonder if they have a huge guy with a baseball bat that collects from those that don’t pay...
It would be interesting to see the contract language. Maybe they just tow the car away.
