t's Star Trek vs. Star Wars in the skies over San Francisco!
Which would win in a battle, the Death Star or the Enterprise? Let us know in the comments!
After Star Trek IV, the crew of the Enterprise needed more whales, so they came back to San Francisco again, except this time it's an alternate universe where Reagan's Star Wars defense initiative from the 80's is coming to fruition as the Death Star nears completion (superlaser already fully operational). Star Wars is our military
Death Star.
That said, it had an incredibly vulnerable flaw where some punk kid could bring it down with a lucky blaster shot to its innards.
The Enterprise was VERY vulnerable to phasers when it had its shields down.
The "Planet Killer" in the Doomsday Machine, had a great deal of power until a Constitutional class starship blew itself up inside.
I guess it's a Superman vs. Batman thing.
Debatable, but cool. For us geeks.
CONSTITUTION grade starship.
Funny. “boo-ya.”
The special were pretty good, until try blew up the ship. I don’t think it would be wise to blow something up the equivalent of a billion tons of TNT.
If successfull then it would be just a matter of time before all your bases are belong to us.
IF . . . that's a big if. What *really* gets the Enterprise is photon torpedoes, and I don't recall the Empire using those. The Enterprise was also really agile. In that video, it just sits there. Finally, that Death Star wasn't even finished yet. Scotty would know right where to hit to take out the shields.
Who would really win? I think the Enterprise would have the edge simply because the Death Star would have to rotate around to fire its big weapon at a moving Enterprise. All the Enterprise has to do is fly around zapping it while the Death Star keeps trying to turn into position.
Fantastic matchmoving and compositing work. Very well done, except for the explosion of the Enterprise. That was pretty lame.
Perhaps in space, but if the Enterprise tried to,be so agile on Earth, the forces generated could be enough to tear Earth apart.
Also, there’s a possibility that the Death Star’s shielding might have made it impossible to detect its capabilities, because nobody on the rebel side were able to detect its capabilities until it became too late.

Did I see n IRS logo on the Death Star?
I guess you’re not aware of the fact that the petition to build a Death Star has been denied.
https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/response/isnt-petition-response-youre-looking
So this whole scenario is implausible.
The space station *is* the death star.....
It’s only a matter of time before they test it.
