Woman refuses judge’s suggestion to marry man in consensual sex case
Duo admit to having sex outside of marriage
Dubai: A woman startled a judge on Tuesday when she refused to marry a worker, with whom she is accused of having consensual sex, in order to be granted a suspended prison sentence.
The suspects, a Filipina and the Pakistani worker, pleaded guilty when they appeared before the Dubai Misdemeanour Court on Tuesday.
“In an obvious attempt to convince the defendants to get married and obtain a lenient judgment, the judge asked the worker: “Are you willing to marry her?”
“I don’t know. If my religion allows me to do so, then yes I agree,” replied the man.
“Aren’t you a Muslim?” the judge asked him.
“Yes I am… I am fine by marrying her,” answered the man.
The judge thereafter turned towards the Filipina, who is also in detention, and asked her: “What is your religion?”
Answering the court’s question through the translator, the woman clarified that she was a Christian.
“Are you willing to marry the man?” the judge asked.
“No, I don’t want to marry him,” replied the Filipina in an apparently defiant manner.
The judge adjourned the case to hand out a judgment later this month.
I would say that this is the first smart decision that she has made. Let's hope that she makes many more decisions like this one.
Gee, I was given the choice of marrying my wife or going to jail almost fifty years ago. I guess if I had chosen fifty years in prison, I would be a free man next month.

However, I imagine that they are foolish enough to think that the rules, for some reason, won't apply to them. The rules DO apply to them. The Arabs in all those Gulf Arab countries WILL put them in jail. Arab pokies ain't like ANYTHING else in the world.
Ok I’ve lived in Dubai. Arabs exploring Malaysian woman is common. What I found amusing is the Russian hooker angle. At the end if the day these are still girls who want a boyfriend. They can’t stand the Arabs so they hang out with the American and British guys. There lots of single Western young men working for Chase...BP..Morgan Stanley etc. Cuz it’s easier to transfer a single guy then one with a family.
So there’s a lot of extracurricular activities between the Russian girls and our guys. Barbecues..swimming dating stuff. Well the Arabs got jealous and complained .So a new law was decreed. “All single American and British men’s rents shall be raised 20% because if late night immoral parties with Russian woman”.LOL....
Our boys were getting it for free.

If she were living her professed religion, she wouldn’t be in this mess.
I know a couple of divorced guys who now wish they would have been given that choice.........
What? a decision to lie and say she is a Christian when she obviously don,t even know the meaning of the word.
It is easy to see why so many people are turning away from so called Christianity.
The bible tells us that if we marry we have committed no sin even if we have screwed around with that person before marriage.
Could it be that is why we have so many unwed mothers, are they ashamed of the ones they have screwed around with or maybe their half wit parents wants them to finish school or maybe they don,t want to marry some one with a different faith?
With that kind of Christian mentality why in the hell are we saying that Mormons and moslems are false religions?

Do what he will first but marry.
This can be taken to mean let them marry first but it does not say let them marry first it says do what you will, it insinuates he has already misbehaved toward her.
But if some one takes it the other way i have no argument.
