I used to think that. Rubio has been co-opted, and he has proved himself not able to avoid the Washington disease. I hope to God that Ted Cruz remains immune, he is our best hope for an anti-Rino.

One has to wonder, what sorta crap they can dig up on people who get into DC....
Personally, If I went to DC I would wear a wire on me at all times and when apprioched by someone wanting to blackmail me I would record the conversation, then tell them to go ahead and release it, then when they did I would release them threatening to release it in their attempt to blackmail me which would cause it to bacjkfire on THEM....
Then again, they would probably throw me in jail for recording a conversation, even though I was the one recoprding what my own ears were hearing...

Indeed he did. There was a point around the time of the 2006 midterm elections IIRC, that I recall Rush dropping the pretense in disgust and saying that he wasn't going to carry the Republicans' water for them anymore.
I think that Rush has gone back to carrying their water.
