Could be. Though I haven’t eaten at Ikea. Taco Bell? who knows?
I’ve eaten it a bunch of times. Not bad but not exceptional, either.
Some good recipes there, no matter where the meat came from.
Have you ever eaten/seen horse meat? I was served some meat at a relatives house in New Mexico that they called beef but it didn’t look like any beef I have ever seen. I went to the meat market with the relative when he bought it. The meat was very very dark. I called it elk but it was even darker than elk. It tasted OK, a little strong as I recall.
Absolutely not!

Horses, dogs and cats are not meat animals — they are partners and loyal companions of humans. We have a covenant with them.
I’ve often derided vegetarians; but, if there were no alternatives to eating the flesh of our animal companions, I’d be a vegetarian.
Would you buy and eat a horse meat steak, again?

I said, "Yes, steak!"
Satisfied that I had broken the language barrier and getting something to eat I would be familiar with, I was really looking forward to eating my meat and potatoes.
When I was served dinner, I could hardly wait to bite into my sizzling sirloin sandwich.
After the first bite,I thought it tasted a little gamey and kind of tough. I leaned over to my dining neighbor with a quizical glance and he said with a big grin, "Oui Oui - cheval et pommes de terre1!Horse and potatoes!"
The next day, I bought a French & English translation guide book.
Looks like Armies fed on them when there was no other meat around. I know the Germans did. Why be surprised over it, in other areas of the world they eat dogs and cats. If its red meat, its eaten somewhere.
Go to Belgium and order a hamburger...if it isn’t McDonalds, it’s probably Trigger.
