I don't suppose the reason no one knows it's derogatory and it wasn't derogatory at all 50 years ago is because it isn't derogatory and you're just a neurotic, Martinka!?!
Exactly. She admits it’s not meant to be derogatory, and that she - not the company - is weird.
Offensive - in the world according to progressive liberals, there is no objective right or wrong. Except, some things are “offensive”. Whatever is offensive is wrong. It’s ALL prejudice.
Democracy, to the progs, isn’t about making government accountable to the people. It’s about determining whose prejudices will rule.
While many people don’t see this clearly, as a consequence of there is no objective right and wrong, there would be nothing wrong with euthanizing those deemed unfit, those who are unproductive, or simply those whom the majority finds to be offensive.
Thus, this mother senses that if “less than average size people” (the preferred euphemism) are labelled as genetically abnormal (which, objectively, they are), they are at risk of being denied a license to reproduce or perhaps even being euthanized (preferably while within the womb, but if necessary even upon being born).
The M word???? Are you kidding? How about the G word? As in I give up.
Things like this would have been a comedy routine a few years back.
Give the neurotic a little power and there's no end to it.
I hope she doesn't run across someone who owns an MG Midget. That could get ugly.
This sad woman has much deeper problems than a child with a disease.
The insane can't make the distinction between a human being and a pickled vegetable; between a perceived slight and a neutral descriptive adjective. But The politically correct company can. And should have.
