As a former teacher, I think too much emphasis is put on grades and not enough on actually learning the material. Kids are so focused on the”grade” that they miss the whole purpose of school. It’s not their fault. It’s the crappy system. I always told them “learn the objective and do the assignments and your grade will automatically come”.
