An E.J. Brown PreK-8 School gym teacher is on paid administrative leave pending an investigation into two separate assaults of a sexual nature on two 7-year-old girls by three 7-year-old boys during gym classes.
The five children involved are all second-graders. The three boys were suspended for five days before winter break in connection with the incidents that occurred on Dec. 5 and Dec. 6, Dayton Public Schools spokeswoman Jill Moberley said.
The first incident happened at 12:05 p.m. Dec. 5, according to a school district incident report involving one of the 7-year-old girls. That girl reported that while in gym class the boys were grabbing her in a sexual manner, humping on her, according to the incident report filed by the school resource officer.
Moberley said a school investigation found that all of the students were clothed and there was no penetration.
A substitute teacher was on duty when the Dec. 5 incident occurred and the district gym teacher was working the next day when the second incident occurred, Moberley said.
The substitute has been removed from the substitute call list.
Moberley said the district became aware of the alleged incidents after the first girls father contacted the school on Dec. 6 or 7. That started the investigation by school administrators and the school resource officer.
It was in the course of the investigation that everything came to light, Moberley said. Police were not contacted
School officials reviewed video surveillance and discovered the second girl was assaulted in a similar manner the next day.
The second 7-year-old girls mother told the newspaper she didnt receive a call from the principal about what happened until two weeks after the alleged incident as winter break was starting.
Her daughter said she couldnt get a boy off her. Another boy threw her to the ground, the mother said, and the girl elbowed one of the boys in order to get away.
Moberley said the principal will be meeting with the mother this week and said the delay is due to students just returning from winter break this week.
She said school officials have met with some parents. The school has thoroughly investigated it
. Theyve been very responsible in addressing this, Moberley said.
Given that so many teachers get off on thinking kids have sex, I am surprised the girl wasn’t arrested for elbowing the boy. (Yea, over the top....nope)
So the 7-year-old girl elbowed a boy to get away? Good for her! When the authorities are as negligent as these teachers obviously were, self-defense is a necessary skill to have. If the school did suspend her I would happily donate money to fund a lawsuit against the school.
And the Left tells us there’s nothing wrong with sexualizing children!
What are those boys seeing at home? This is not normal behavior for seven-year-old boys.
God in Heaven!
As far as I am aware, neither of the victims were suspended.
Hopefully she wasn’t disciplined for self-defense.
I had a friend who was a PhD in Psychology. I once saw an article from her governing body that claimed that an adult having sex with a child was not necessarily harmful to the child.I challenged her and she said ‘oh, that was just one article.....’ I told her her profession suffered when it put out such appalling information as that. She had no children so was a typical Liberal on the issue of ‘free’ sex. I told her that I couldn’t imagine anything more damaging to a child’s psyche than sexualizing them at too young an age. She was clueless, but is still an undergraduate professor in Psychology in a state university. We are no longer friends.
Exactly! My first thought too.
Public school is child abuse.
I had to go back and see who "Moberley" was. She's the official Spokesthing for the school district.
“The problem can be found in the article...winter break indeed.”
This school really looks like it is interested in getting to the bottom of this, right after everyone has a nice long fully taxpayer funded winter break. However, they do have the interest of the children first.
You know I was in highschool about 17 years ago, I remember how many of the teachers behaved, not all. There was a large group of an un-named minorities. On the last day of my freshman year, I wasn’t paying attention and started past them (normally I wouldnt), one of them went right up to me and punched me in the face. I could have fought him well, but he had 25 of his “buddies” behind him. This happened in front of 4 teachers. They did nothing, said nothing to me or them. Pretended they didn’t see it. For most it is just a check. It isn’t about children and their futures.
I don’t know of any public school teaching seven year old boys to ‘hump’ little girls. More likely, the kids are being taught this is acceptable on the home front.

Why the over reaction? They are 7, so they probably just came out of a class that gave explicit instructions with video on how to do it.
Two seven year old girls were sexually assaulted.
Providing a means for interested Freepers to express their concerns to the principal of the school is hardly ‘over-reacting’ in light of what those girls will have to deal with for the rest of their lives.
My comment was sarcasm. Of course the situation is horrible.
I looked up the school’s demographics. 80% Holder’s people. Surprise, surprise.
how do 7 year olds even know this?
