Tonight, they’re saying that the mother was a substitute teacher at the school, and the principal recognized the shooter as her son, and buzzed him in through a locked door.
We’ll never get to ask the principal, will we. Or the mother.
Seems like the only people we are hearing from are those who hid away in a closet or bathroom.
No first hand eyewitness accounts at all.
New story on the principal from local Connecticut news site. . .
Principal, school psychologist ran to help
By one eye-witness account, Hochsprung and school psychologist Mary Sherlach were in a routine meeting Friday around 9:30 a.m. when they heard gunshots.
They leaped out of their seats and ran out of the room toward the noise, said Diane Day, a therapist who works at the school and was in the meeting, The Wall Street Journal reported on its website.
“They didn’t think twice about confronting or seeing what was going on,” Day said.

The Principal was killed correct so we can’t verify with the Prinicpal.
With an AR-15 and two handguns? Some things are just hard to conceal.
“...the principal recognized the shooter as her son, and buzzed him in through a locked door.”
Hmmm... Since I heard he was wearing a mask, how did the principal recognize him? Also, it’s unfortunate she’s dead and can’t tell us what happened.
