Come on Patriots! This is not the answer. First they went after our families, the most fundamental building block of society. Now they are going for the whole country.

These petitions are a very easy way for Obemba to start an ‘enemies list’.
If all 50 secede, what have they accomplished?
They will eventually rejoin out of self preservation and because of commerce.
Thus, the Libs and Leftiests and Moderates will come along with the states when they join together.

The problem is the politicians that keep getting reelected. And in the New Union, politicians will again take over and move the New Union leftward.

First thing I thought of was "Mr President may we secede, Pretty Pretty Please, can we?", like he's going to say, sure go ahead........
These things are ridiculous because no person can start a “petition” for his entire state.
The state on the whole must represent itself, not have some mere single person speak for it.
I appreciate the sentiment, but it really is silly and uneducated in approach. One only speaks for oneself, and as such, if you don’t start a serious movement - emigrate elsewhere and renounce your citizenship.
One thing that might/should come out of this a challenge/brouhaha at the certification of electoral votes in December. Matters of fraud and eligibility could cause a real hangup. A couple of patriotic stout hearted congresspersons might really stir the pot. Of course Biden having the gavel doesn’t bode well.

When elected officials and bureaucracies act outside the law they are simply lawbreakers. When the majority of the people vote in favor of the lawlessness that has greatly manifested itself in the highest offices they have withdrawn their consent to be governed by a constitutional government. By what legitimate basis does the United States of America, as a Constitutional republic, still exist?
We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.
'The People' no longer support that. They voted in support of lawlessness from the highest office on down. They voted against the rule of law. By referendum we now have a banana republic. The USAINO.
How do you start one of these?
All 50 States should secede. Then they should restart the Union with the Constitution, but with amendments that greatly limit the federal government’s authority (especially its commerce and taxation powers).
