I had an old lady from a very wealthy section of Nashville try to play the ‘little old widow” card on me. Her house was valued in excess of $1 million.

I understand-for a while I was in charge of parking adminstration for a large University.

The rationalizations for tickets and parking spaces could make your head spin and catch on fire. The little widow was one of them. The Single mother was prevalent, along with “Do you know who I am”

Had a Dr. ask me how many lives I had saved that day. Told him he was still breathing. Didn’t go well from there :)

It amazes me how flexible the Universe is, because it seems to revolve around so many people
