Your mistake is in thinking that a post has not been added to a thread unless and until the 'post reply' page you are on refreshes to the updated thread. That is not the case.

You waited for the page you were on to refresh but the status didn't advance and you bailed. And tried again. And so on, not realizing that each time your efforts were successful.

I've been on a thread with a 34X post. In a row too, not spaced out over 90 minutes. It was beautiful and moved other posters to tears.
