The pick for this week's feature is "Night Passage". This 1957 western features decorated WWII vets and patriots Jimmy Stewart and Audie Murphy as brothers on the opposite sides of the law. I miss patriotic, pro-American actors like Stewart and Murphy. Also features, Hugh Beaumont(a/k/a Ward Cleaver, one of TV's best on-screen dads) as a railroad tycoon.
Sounds interesting
I was very surprised to learn recently that YouTube has tons of free, full-length movies, including many classics.
If you have RealPlayer installed you can download videos from YouTube, regardless of length. RP is free also.

Once at the YouTube site, don’t forget to check out all the other full-length movies in the column on the right of page. You can click for even more suggestions.
Filmed in my favorite part of the country! Durango, Silverton CO, and the Durango & Silverton railroad between! Worth watching!
Yep. I have that DVD of the film.
Indeed. Plus I like the accordion playing Stewart’s character does.
Did you read post 3, regarding RealPlayer?
Yes. Thanks for the info.
I’ve got Night Passage on DVD and am watching it now!
Oh why did I ever leave the Durango Area! Oh wait, my worthless Brother-in-law (If you know him he probably owes you money) lives at Farmington and I like to keep 1000 miles between us!
Too bad. It’s a beautiful area. I really like Dimitri Tiomkin’s music score: “Follow the River” and “You Can’t Get Far Without a Railroad.”
Thanks for the info. Both the Samsung t.v. and the Apple t.v. access YouTube.
