Big teachers strike going on in chicago. All the troglodytes that took the easy road in college and spent more time dancin on the bar than doing homework got together and demanded stupid ridiculous raises, immunities, and 'no penalty for horrible performance' clauses. In other words, all these former sorrority chicks and 'campus social activists' got together, took some days off and hit up the malls downtown to get their new Iphones.
My favorite line was one of the lead ladies that was singin and dancin in the strike line....the journalist asked her "what do you teach" to which she gave that horrible combative looks and uttered with highest pride "I TEACHES ANG-GUH-LASH" which the commie journalist had to clarify "are you saying you teach ENGLISH?" to which more folks on strike jumped in and said "Hell yeah....we teaches ang-guh-lish". OK then. these are the folks at the educational helm. Up and to the right....this is so far removed from the triangle shirt factory fire remedy its repulsive.
I actually had inlaws down there yesterday. My sister in law is dumb enough to make the cut. even though she don't work in chicago, she still felt the need to run down, sing, dance and go to the mall. (that means that a room full of students was left behind....but hey, if you are tenured it don't matter....)
now for the neat part. do you know how these singin and dancin morons got fed? I know, I know, by the looks of the stocky posse, hog troffs and medicated feed would have worked fine.....but really, who fed them?
and now the answer. They stormed into the local diners and demanded free meals, beverages, etc. nobody even left a tip. While most establishments complied (there's no balls left in chicago) there was, by the sister in laws account, a korean owned deli that did not. When she stormed the place with some of her buds, singin and dancin and demanded free the dude layed a gun on the counter and said "NO, get out". While not a cattle prod, it apparently did have some registration with the lowest common denominator because they left and then tweeted about it to their buds on their new Iphones.
I wanna go shake that dudes hand. or maybe that gets a hug. I wanna eat whatever he cooks. I wanna pay for it. I bet his kids are smart too! I bet he sits with them every night and undoes the putrid agenda and horrible teachings at homework time. I bet they know how to say "ANG-GUH-LASH" as its intended two syllables.
and did you see jesse jackson? since its election time, we don't want to be reminded that he got caught buying up B.Hussein's senate seat for his son, jesse JR-we simply must have distractions. So now Jesse JR has some terminal disease and he is weak, frail and needy with his own media channel....and the old man is singin and dancin with the amassed morons gunning for peace and love. That'll make em forget!

Make no mistake, organized labor is P.O-ed at Barry. He did not deliver on Card Check nor in Wisconsin. Seeing the clock at two minutes to midnight before extinction they are pulling out all the stops. By causing trouble and creating a general sense of chaos they know they can get Barry to agree to almost ANYTHING if they will only pipe down and quit complicating his campaign.
No doubt the Mooslims are thinking the same thing.

You could be right, but on a different thread about the Longshoremen possibly striking there was a different scenario brought up.
Basically it was for the Chicago Teacher Union and the Longshoremen Union to both go on strike, start causing even more damage to the economy and 0-Bama would show his presidential side and tell them to go back to work and they would do so meekly. That would resonate with the Undecideds and give the election to 0-Bama.
Rampaging chaos in the streets with embassies burning overseas never goes well for the incumbent though.
These unions have placed themselves in the position of demanding that the force of gravity stop working, just for them.
Unable to turn down the gravity knob himself, this puts Rahm in the unenviable position that he *cannot* agree to *and* meet their demands, yet to say “no” to them would make trouble for *him*.
So my estimation is that, in true Democrat form, when confronted by a difficult decision, he will choose to do nothing except campaign for reelection.
This will force all parties, teachers, government and parents, to do *something*. My guess is that parents will be the first to act, the easiest way is by creating religious schools for their children.
This is because charter schools may be somewhat limited in number in Chicago, but religious schools would not be under such restrictions.
Since the Catholic church probably has the largest religious school district in the region, parents may appeal to the church to permit and authorize a school “annex” attached to an existing school, but not on school grounds, the students being administratively under the authority of that particular Catholic school, technically enrolled as its students. The parents would pay for this annex, and a fee to the Catholic school to cover the administrative expenses.
This would allow the Catholic school to be “overcapacity” without overcrowding. The parents could then keep their children in a non-union school, the annex would not have to be independently certified as a school, and lots of other benefits.
And the children would almost certainly get a LOT better education than they could in the public schools.
