A recently discovered block of eastern Wisconsin cheddar cheese that dates back to the Nixon presidency will be sold for $10 per ounce.
Edward Zahn, 73, was in Z's Cheese Shoppe's walk-in cooler last month, preparing to shut down his Oconto store. He pushed aside stacks of cheese to reveal several wooden boxes that had been overlooked for years.

I’ve found stuff “mellowing” in our icebox that I swear dates back to the Roosevelt presidency.
I’m talking Teddy, not Franklin.
Maybe I should put it on Ebay.
Sounds like my refrigerator.
Is there such a thing as “too much” aging with cheese?
Not much of a cheese shop, is it?
I love chesse that bites back!
I think they are talking cheese here, not Cheez Whiz....

I do not like the Moose that bite my sister! But I would crawl across ... for some of that cheese!
I have too! I put it out on the counter to thaw to see if it was rotten, and it up and walked away.
The predictable result of expecting part-time minimum wage employees to rotate stock.
Will probably end up being eaten on YouTube by one of these guys on there who drink 20 and 30 year old cans of beer.
Why is Edward Zahn shutting down his store?
Hate it when that happens... if it hides somewhere & we can’t find it then we have to call out for a pizza and that adds up.
