Talk about a steal -- for $1 you could get a glass of fresh lemonade or a muffin ... AND YOU GET TO MEET PAUL MCCARTNEY!!!!!
The legendary Beatle and his wife, Nancy Shevell, were spotted in front of their home in the Hamptons this weekend, helping daughter Bea and a few friends make a little dough selling refreshments.
You can't buy his love, but you can buy his lemonade.
Meanwhile the Lennon kids were busy down the street selling eggcreams.
Do they have the proper permit?
Well I think that’s fine. In fact McCartney’s kids seem to have turned out OK. I know that one is the big designer, I don’t like her stuff, but that’s not important.
Now he has the little ones out working for a dollar, I think that is very good.
It must be kind of hard to raise your kids right when you are mega-rich and famous like he is.
Good, I hope they sold a lot of lemonade and I hope the feds left them alone.
You can bet on it that no official will come along and shut down that lemonade stand nosiree. Some are more equal than others.
Ya wouldn’t happen to have any of that Leary’s Electric Lemonade would ya Paul?
McCartneys alright. About two years ago my 26 year-olde God son, Justin was diagnosed with essentially incurable and very rare cancer. Surgery, chemo and marrow transplants did nothing and he was dying at Sloan in New York. About two weeks before he died he was dozing in a hospital bed; his mother was reading and in walked Paul McCartney. He stayed and talked and played his Taylor guitar for about 45 minutes or an hour. Before he left he pulled out a sharpie, autographed the Taylor and gave it to Justin. No ones played it since
Yes, Paul’s alright.
Ha!
Just saw a documentary on McCartney. Certainly seemed like a well-grounded guy to me.
Oh wait, he doesn't live in Obama's America.
If I got to meet him I’d simply ask “why didn’t you just quit after the Beatles’ breakup? Every single thing you did thereafter was absolute pig swill”.
He should be selling Hampton tomatoes.
