Having some knowledge of Gen. Groves, I can picture the veins bulging out on his head. He in fact died of a heart attack after the war, but not until 1970. The phrase a bad day at the office for him could have been the deaths of dozens of American Soldiers, Airmen Sailors and Marines. Or hundreds. Or thousands...or the loss of the war itself. Pretty big load.

Until we took the German cargo submarine U-235 and its cargo, which include 560 KG of Uranium Oxide. interesting...I need to put aside some time to read this. thanks
