The assessment that the U.S. economy is "stuck in the mud," recently given to lawmakers by Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke, underscores again that there has been no recovery since the theoretical ending of the recession in June 2009. For the 80% of Americans born after World War II, this is their Great Depression.

Obama immigrants plan to cost more than $585 million!

WASHINGTON — The Obama administration’s new plan to grant temporary work permits to many young, illegal immigrants who otherwise could be deported may cost more than $585 million and require hiring hundreds of new federal employees to process more than 1 million anticipated requests, according to internal documents obtained by The Associated Press.

Nah, Mort, our economy is stuck in an exported jobs rice paddy. We need some of that American exceptionality to get them back here.

Probably more so. Hussein has had nearly four years to work his socialist magic and unemployment is really much higher now that when he started. He has his minions at the Dept of Labor "massage" the statistics, but the only reason that they are not double digits in the 20+ % range is that after exhausting all avenues people just give up. The trend is to become "disabled" - I'm not sure how you do that, but I am sure that it is about the only option after exhausting unemployment benefits.

Somebody’s rewriting history.

We went from recession to green shoots to recovery(3 times).

Now Zuckerman says it was ‘a theoretical recovery’....hmmmm

“The trend is to become “disabled” - I’m not sure how you do that”

Very simple. You set up a doctor’s appointment to discuss your “disabling” back pain.

You show up at the doctor’s office with a large envelope filled with cash.

You tell the doctor how your back pain makes it impossible to do your job (if you have an office job then the pain makes it impossible to sit for any length of time and pain killers make you incoherent). At the end of the appointment you “forget” the envelope and leave it in the examination room and the doctor fills out your medical disability forms and sends them into the government.

See, it’s not that hard.

[And I wish I was joking or being sarcastic, but I’m not.]

Yeah...good luck with Obambi's "lazer focus on jobs"

every jobs sector he looks at gets fried to a cinder.
