Yes, I suspect a bladder inflammation is what was in play.

Doubtful that he could have waited long if that is the case.

This is not that big of a deal. I was caught in a traffic jam once without a bottle or cup and...well I was’nt about to ruin the leather seats. You open the door to block one point of view, turn around toward the side of the car to block another point of view, and then you hold your computer case a the proper level with your right hand to block the last remaining point of view. Everyone knows what you are doing of course, and the wet spot on the side of the car further gives you away, but you darn sure feel better.
