Will be interesting to see how Missouri does in its first year in the SEC.

I was looking forward to watching the Razorbacks this year with their great QB and top RB returning. Then the coach had to go get himself fired over a young broad. Unless they hit lighting in a bottle with the new coach they will not be as good as they could have been. “They cudda been a contenda.”

Missouri and TxA&M will have growing pains in the SEC, there are just too many quality teams in it to play week end and week out.

But I am looking forward to some great football. I love college football.

That reminds me, I need to buy a magazine about the upcoming teams and the predictions for their seasons. Too bad Street and Smith no longer publishes.

Missouri will do better than the aggies, that’s for sure. Aggie football will be the doormat of the SEC for a few years, if not more.

At the end of last season, I had picked Arkansas to win the National Championship this year...now, not so much.

Last year Arkansas may have had the best two deep raw talent in the conference. But they were also young and did stupid things at the wrong time. Arkansas will continue to get good talent and be a force to be reckoned with regardless of the HC.

I already have USC as one team in the Championship Game, the only question is which SEC will oppose them.

SEC teams beat each other up so much that I am going to say Oklahoma State/USC in the NC game.

If LSU has a decent QB this year, you can’t rule them out.

Bama will be down a notch this year, but next year, they’ll be back.

As far as my Gators, who knows? They should be solid on defense, but the offense is one big crap shoot, plus I’m not sold yet on Muschamp.

Time will tell, sip. If I were you, I’d be worried about how your own steers will perform.

Gators travel to College Station early Sept. Kyle Sadium will be a huge culture shock to them...The 12th man..the Corps..is something to behold..

And be assured that some Aggies will somehow manage to obtain, legally, or otherwise, a few alligators and roast them...heck, this may bring back the famed Aggie bonfire..

I am trying to remember the last time the Gators played a game in Texas. Actually, I am pushing my kids to go to A&M, so it could get pretty interesting in our house in a few years.

They won't be for long, they are recruiting like monsters so far for 2013...the move to the SEC will lure a lot of top-notch players, that might have otherwise gone to Big 12 schools.

I have always liked Texas A&M. I also like traditions but one needs to change.

You can probably guess which one.

I had and still have doubts about their defense. Offensively few teams could match up but their defense was not top flight.

THE doormat? No, A doormat, maybe. I expect they will be mid-level.

Indeed it is something to behold. Quite the venue. However with The Swamp having roughly the same capacity as Kyle Field, I'd say the shock wont be too bad. Heck, maybe even the Gator plays can concentrate a little better since there are beautiful ladies on only one side of the field.
