Ancient stone projectile points and fossilized feces suggest a previously unknown culture that existed on the West Coast some 13,000 years ago.
Ancient stone projectile points discovered in a Central Oregon cave complex have cast new light on the identity of the first Americans.
~~~snip~~~
These stone points, a type known as Western temmed points, are narrower and lack the distinctive flute, or shallow groove, found on Clovis points. Researchers believe the two types of points represent different technologies, produced by different cultures....
Paisley Cave, Oregon, site of the finds.
Waiting for NA’s to claim that these are the ancient ones told to them by their elders through oral history.
Did the same with Kennewick Man.
ummmm- fossilization in 13000 years ? yeah right
So basically this find shows that ancient Oregonian's collected EVIL WEAPONS and pooped on them.
IOW nothing has changed in 13000 years.
LOL :-)
Could have been Elizabeth Warrens in-laws.
The early Franks also had a pre-Clovis culture. In fact, Clovis’ father Childeric’s tomb was discovered in 1653 with a lot of gold and other objects—signet ring, etc. (most of these objects were later stolen and melted down, but they are known from drawings made of them).
It happens.
When I was 10, the local science teacher took us on a field trip to McCoy’s Ferry which has old limestone block tunnels connected to the C&O Canal.
We stopped in the tunnel [built circa 1830] and he told us to shine our flashlights up at the ceiling of the tunnel where foot long, thin stalactites were hanging.
Then, with a totally straight face, he told us they’d taken millions of years to form.
Even at that I young, I knew BS when I heard it.
Oddly enough, they are no longer in that tunnel.
I’m not sure if souvenir hunters broke them off or somebody ‘scientific’ was offended by their existence.
LOL and first on the moon too.
Fossilization has been found to take place much quicker than 13,000 years.
Less than 100 actually....
